Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sacramento follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My husband and I have been going to Pastry cats pop-ups for a while. We were excited to finally go to the brick and mortar. It’s located in a nice place, parking can get a bit tight. The place gets packed really fast, I wish the outdoor space had more seating and covers for hot days. My favorite items from their menu had to be the ham and cheese croissant, almost croissant, blueberry scone, and chocolate chip cookie!

Everything has been great. Line can be long but it moves quick. French toast is THICC and very shareable. None of the pasties are overly sweet and are all baked so well. The breakfast sando is also a fav of mine but if you're not a fan of parsley that sucks bc the chimichurri is so good.

Pretty disappointed with the baked goods. We arrived around 7:55am and there was already a long line outside, so I expected better quality given the hype and prices. We tried the almond croissant, ham and cheese croissant, chocolate cookie, and a cheese-and-oregano croissant. Unfortunately, everything tasted overcooked. None of the croissants had the flaky, buttery texture you’d expect. The almond croissant was especially disappointing β€” extremely sweet with a shell so hard it was difficult to eat. For the prices they charge, I honestly don’t understand how they’re comfortable selling pastries with that level of quality.

OMG! Highly recommend! This bakery is so incredibly delicious. The line was a little long this morning but it was worth it! We tried the ham and cheese pain suisse, roasted garlic smoked cheddar scone and the salted honey croissant bun. They have a limit of 5 pastries per person right now with the soft opening going on. Everything was soooooo yummy but I especially liked the honey bun. They have both outdoor and indoor seating and are right across the street from a playground and park if you have kids or dogs.

i have been going to pastry cats popups for so long, and i’m OVERJOYED to see them finally open up a storefront! these are the best pastries you will ever find in the sacramento area. they have creative, sometimes asian-inspired flavor rotations especially with my personal fav, their almond croissant. but you won’t go wrong with anything - their soft opening has just started, so be prepared for a wait, however it is so worth it. please come here asap.
